Wan 2.6 Flash Image to Video
Wan 2.6 Flash is a video model from Alibaba's Wan family. On VividHour it runs the Fast tier, so you can try it right here: add a photo, press Generate, and your first video today is free.
If it fails or is rejected, nothing is used up.

What it is
The model behind the free daily video
Wan 2.6 Flash turns a still photo into a short clip: your photo becomes the first frame, and the model generates the motion that follows, from a slow push-in to a pet turning its head. Describe the motion you want, or leave the box blank.
We run it at 720p without sound, in clips of 5 or 10 seconds. The free video is 5 seconds; 10 seconds needs a paid plan or a credit pack. Text to video on the Fast tier runs on a different model, Runway, also at 720p without sound.
VividHour is an independent product and is not affiliated with Alibaba. We run Wan 2.6 Flash through an API provider, and its name is shown next to every video it makes.
- One clear subject with simple motion: a pet turning its head, steam rising, water moving.
- Landscapes and slow camera moves, such as a gentle push-in or a pan.
- Trying a photo for free before you spend credits on sound or a longer clip.
How it works
How Wan 2.6 Flash runs on VividHour
- 1The Fast tier
Every Fast-tier video made from a photo comes from Wan 2.6 Flash, at 720p and without sound.
- 2Credits
One video a day per device is free, two with a free account. Beyond that, a 5-second clip is 2 credits and a 10-second clip is 4.
- 3What the button shows
The Generate button shows the cost before you start: "Free today, 1 left" while you have a free video, then the number of credits.
- 4Failures are not charged
If a video fails or is rejected, the free video or the credits come back.
What does not work well
- Faces and hands can drift over a few seconds, especially in close-ups.
- Fast action, crowds and busy scenes tend to smear or lose detail.
- Text in the photo, like signs and labels, often warps.
- There is no sound on this tier. For sound, use Standard or Pro.
