Terms of Service
The rules for using VividHour: free and paid videos, credits and payment, your content and commercial use, and our liability. Last updated 2026-10-22.
The agreement
This page sets out the agreement between you and VividHour, which runs vividhour.com. "We", "us" and "our" mean VividHour. Using the site, whether or not you have an account, means you accept these terms. Our Content Rules, Refund Policy and Copyright and Takedown page are part of these terms, and our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data. If you do not agree, please do not use VividHour.
What VividHour does
Give VividHour a photo, or describe a scene in a prompt, and it makes a short video of 5, 8 or 10 seconds. The videos are created by third-party AI video models, which kie.ai runs for us. VividHour is an independent service. We did not build these models and are not affiliated with the companies that make them.
Every video is AI-generated, and every file says so:
- Free videos show "vividhour.com · AI" in the bottom-right corner.
- Every file carries a machine-readable label. Where the model's file already has C2PA Content Credentials, we leave them exactly as they are. Otherwise we add an XMP label with the IPTC digital source type "trainedAlgorithmicMedia", and we keep any label the model added.
- You can read these labels with a Content Credentials viewer, such as contentcredentials.org/verify, or with a metadata tool such as ExifTool.
We never remove a provider's AI marks, and you may not remove ours or theirs (see our Content Rules).
AI output varies. The same photo and prompt can give different results, and a video may not look the way you hoped. We do not promise any particular result.
Who may use it
Accounts and payments are for adults only: you need to be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. The free tool is not directed at children under 13.
Your account
You can sign in with Google or with a link we email to you. Activity on your VividHour account is your responsibility, so protect the inbox you sign in with. If you suspect someone else got into your account, tell us at support@vividhour.com.
Free videos
- Without an account, you get one free video per device each day. With a free account, you get two. Days reset at midnight UTC.
- Free videos are 720p, silent and 5 seconds long, with a visible mark in one corner.
- Free videos are for personal, non-commercial use only. Do not use them in advertising, client work or anything you sell.
- Scripts, bots and other automated or bulk use to go beyond the free limits are not allowed.
Prices and credits
These are the paid options, also listed on our pricing page:
- Starter: $9.90 a month, with 100 credits each month.
- Pro: $24.90 a month, with 250 credits each month.
- Max: $69.90 a month, with 750 credits each month.
- Yearly billing: the price of 10 months, so $99, $249 or $699 a year, with the same credits each month.
- Credit pack: a one-time purchase of 100 credits for $12.90, with no expiry date.
Each video uses credits. The number depends on the options you choose and is shown before you start. Subscription credits reset each month and do not roll over. Pack credits never expire. If you have both, subscription credits are used first. A video that fails, or that our checks reject, never uses credits. Any credits taken for it are returned automatically.
Paying and cancelling
Our payment provider, currently Waffo (Pancake), sells to you as the merchant of record and takes care of payment details and any sales tax. Your card number is never visible to us, and we do not keep it.
Each subscription renews by itself every month or year, depending on the billing you chose, until you cancel it. Cancelling takes one click on your account page and can be done at any time. After that, you can keep using your plan and its remaining credits through the last day you have paid for. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
Paid videos and commercial use
Videos made with a paid plan or credit pack have no visible mark. You may use them commercially, as long as you follow these terms, the Content Rules, the model providers' terms and the law.
Your content
You own the photos you upload and the videos you make, subject to the model providers' terms. You give us a limited licence to store, process, check and deliver your photos, prompts and videos. We use it only to run VividHour for you, which includes sending content to the providers named in our Privacy Policy. Nothing you upload or make is used to train AI models, by us or under our agreements with the model providers.
When you upload a photo, you confirm that it is yours or that the people in it have agreed, and that you are the parent or legal guardian of any child in it. What you submit, and what you do with your videos, is your responsibility. Never present a video as real footage of a real event or person in order to mislead.
Content rules and checks
Everything you create must stay within our Content Rules. Among other things, they ban sexual or sexually suggestive content, anything that sexualizes minors, showing real people without their consent, deceptive deepfakes and face swaps.
Every prompt, photo and finished video is checked automatically before and after the video is made. The checks can be wrong. If you think something was blocked by mistake, you can appeal. A person reviews the appeal within 48 hours and answers by email.
If you break the rules, we may remove content, end your free access or close your account. Spent credits are not paid back in that case.
Our name and software
The VividHour name, website and software belong to us or to the people we license them from. These terms let you use the site as intended. They do not give you any other rights to it.
Changes to the service
Models, prices and limits can change, and we may add, change or remove features. The models are run by third parties and may change or become unavailable. For subscriptions, a new price applies from your next renewal, and we will tell you by email first.
Closing your account
The account page has a delete option you can use whenever you like. Your photos, videos and account are removed within 30 days, except records that tax law requires us to keep. Accounts that break these terms or the Content Rules can be suspended or closed by us.
Disclaimers
We offer VividHour on an "as is" and "as available" basis. As far as the law permits, we make no promise that the service will always be available or free of errors, or that a video will suit your purpose. AI videos can contain errors, distortions or unexpected details, so check a video before you rely on it or share it.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law permits, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential harm, including lost income, lost data and missed business. If we are found responsible for something, the most we will pay across all claims is what you paid VividHour in the 12 months leading up to the claim.
Some liability cannot be limited by law, and these terms do not try to limit it. They also leave your consumer rights where you live untouched.
Updates to these terms
We may revise these terms. Each revision gets a new date at the top of this page, and account holders receive an email when a change is significant. If you keep using VividHour after a revision takes effect, the revised terms apply.
